Hey! My name is Tori, and I am from Boulder, Colorado (USA). I love outdoor adventures, a good laugh, and spending time with others. I got my Bachelor’s in General Dietetics at Eastern Kentucky University, and I recently completed a Master’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies. You can probably find me on the volleyball court, at the gym, or enjoying a good cup of coffee with a friend.

Hi! My name is Lizzie Hoffman, and I'm originally from Colorado in the United States. I graduated with my B.A. in vocal performance in 2014 & an M.A. in intercultural studies 2021, and I’m currently working on my doctorate. Some of my favorite things are hiking, reading, journaling, having good conversations over coffee, and being at home with my husband Joseph and our two cats.

Hello! My name is Seth, and I’m originally from Florida in the United States. I have a B.S. in Intercultural Studies from Johnson University (2018) and an M.A. in Intercultural Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary (2021). I love writing, playing, and listening to music, watching and discussing movies, baking, nerding out about J.R.R. Tolkien, and trying new foods!

I’m Joseph! I grew up in rural Oklahoma (USA) and graduated from SWOSU with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. I’ve worked in the corporate world and in various church settings over the past 15 years. I am passionate about creating spaces of curiosity and belonging where everyone can be seen, known, and loved. I enjoy spending time with my wife Lizzie and our two cats (Clue and Finnley), playing board games, watching movies, and talking about how art, pop culture, and faith can inspire us to live better lives.

Taylor is currently on a sabbatical (a time of rest and continuing education) and is away from Thuis. She will return in July 2026.
My name is Taylor, and I was born in Colorado, USA. I’m a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in biological and chemical engineering. Before moving to Maastricht to volunteer for Thuis, I worked three years at a church in Colorado. You can often find me hiking at Sint-Pietersberg, preferably with a take-away cappuccino from Koffie.

Hi! I’m Ximena, and I’m from Bogotá, Colombia. I love going on walks, having good conversations, learning about different cultures, and discovering new coffee spots around the city. I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, have worked in the corporate sector, and recently finished my master’s degree in Learning and Development in Organisations at Maastricht University.
